It has been some time since I updated this blog, so here we go.
At the end of last year I attended an amazing event where many artists gathered to join Explorers against Extinction at an exhibition where works were being auctioned to raise money for their cause.
A great deal of money was made to help endangered species such as the painted dogs, elephants and gorillas.
As an invited artist I was more than happy that my vultures were sold as so contributed to the funds.
The presentations and talk given by the presenters were truly inspiring and gave a sense of hope - although also giving us a reality check on the endangered levels of some species.
Rachel Riley was the host for the evening and we had a chat as she mooched around the exhibition, what a sweetheart she was.
Art can really make difference and on this particular occasion it helped experts do their job to ensure endangered species have a fighting chance for survival.
